Here's my review of Maximum PC August 2009

Not much for me to comment on with this issue. It was a decent issue, a lot of good stuff, just not a lot that grabbed me.

“Steal Mac OS X’s Desktop Features”

For Windows users, add these 2 apps, and mimic the Mac experience:

“Rocket Dock” – http://www.rocketdock.com

“Switcher” – http://www.insentient.net

I used Rocket Dock a couple of years ago, and while I liked it, it was a bit buggy at the time. From the screen shots it looks like it’s come a long way since then. I’ll be installing this one on my work laptop, en la mañana. Switcher, ... meh. I don't need it, but I can see how someone might.

“Software Mashups”
